PLEASE HELP NEEDED! what is the process of electrophoresis and how is it doNE?!!

this is a technique used to seperate DNA fragments of different sizes, usually used for genetic profiling

how its done:
1) take a length of DNA
2) use two different restriction enzymes to cut the DNA
3) place these fragments onto agarose gel
4) this gel is then added to a tank ( where the DNA is on the -ve side as its attracted to the anode)
5) current is passed through the tank
6) the DNA fragments will move along the gel depending on the molecular mass of the fragment ( the smaller the fragment the more they move towards the anode)
