any suggestions for physics paper 6!

My tutor said :
that this paper is very easy it;s alll abt measuring and precautions ad stuff ..the only thing u gotta do is that u should do as much past papers as u can before the exam ......
(but for me cuz i forget alot i might just make a quick revision on the heat lesson as well as the waves )

remember the answers for some questions, which r repeated again n again...

Man, I could swear the syllabus after 1990 changed.
Look at the paper 6s for 1995 - 2000.
It's full of crap we've never done in our life!
The new pattern's a lot better.
I just hope it's easy.
And, umm, all you've got to remember, are the precautions related to heating/cooling water experiments, ray-diagrams, circuits and resistance, lens experiments and often spring-related Hooke's law implementation experiments.
All you need other than that, is a metre rule, calculator, a pen, a pencil, your geometry set, and your brain. :D

The syllabus has changed a lot after 2000, 2005 & 2008. So for past papers, it'd be best if you do from 2006 onwards. ;)

tomorrow's my chinese listening exam, which is the very first chinese listening exam for igcse, and that makes me one of those test subjects :(

Yeah, I take History... I have this overwhelming feeling that I'm gonna fail Paper 1. And I'm taking Physics as well!!! D: Paper 6 is gonna be ok, though. I think it's the easiest. Same for Bio.
Anyone taking Cambridge International Maths on Wednesday? Everyone's like, OMG, it's so hard and all, but I find Paper 2 and 4 pretty much ok. Paper 6 is horrible, though... We got one of those specimen papers for term exams, and I got, like, 11/20. I have this friend in my class, though... He got 19. I was like, Oh my god. HOW did you get that? I didn't understand ANYTHING about the Egyptian fractions and all that crap. The rest was ok. ^^
Anyways, I'm currently in France, in this crap school called IBS of Provence. It sucks, it's horrible, we don't have classes in actual rooms, just algecos, and the food is disgusting, but it's still awesome cause we have good teachers and I've met the best people ever there! I've met most of my best friends in IBS, and this is only my second year there! x)
Anyways, good luck to everyone taking History and Physics tomorrow! Revise, revise, revise!! (Which makes me think, maybe I should go revise as well! I'm still missing to revise Spanish Civil War, UNO, Cold War, Decline and Collapse, and rereading everything... I'm not gonna sleep much tonight... D:<)

I was just checking the mark-scheme for an exam i was solving in physics paper 6 and thought of seeing what's in the resources section and guess what? i found the "BESTEST" answers eva!!
it really cleared all the doubts i had!!!

it's one of the hardest paper 6's ever written in the history of paper 6's.

The hardest thing in the exam for me was timing :-\. The paper was just so long & you better be real quick with measuring stuff. I'm doing Coordinated Science By the way. I managed to finish the paper when the invigilator said STOP. Oh well, didn't get tl check but I'm quite positive that I'd lose maximum about 7 or 8 marks. That should still secure me an A* :D
One worth of advice if you're doing Coordinated Science paper 6 this year, do it as fast as possible!

it's one of the hardest paper 6's ever written in the history of paper 6's.
It's true that it's one of the hardest paper 6 ever. Some of the questions changed slightly though, they ask you the other way round & a lot of chemistry. No more than that. Good luck ;)

OK, to all those asking for Physics Paper 6: it's easy ;)
Seriously, finished in time, confident of an A; just read the questions VERY carefully - that cost me alot of time (I didn't read it properly and wasted ALOT of time).
Hardest question to me has to be the 1st question. But other than that, it'll be fine :)
Again, READ THE QUESTIONS CAREFULLY

Wowiee!! I'm done with 2 exams (got 16 more to do, but whatever!!). Anyways, Paper 6 physics was sooo easy (I won't say anything about it, but seriously, it was basically the same as all the other paper 6s in terms of difficulty).
As for History Paper 1... Well, I was so scared before the exam, but then I told myself to relax, I told myself I knew my stuff, and the exam went super quickly and easily. Easily a B, maybe an A for that paper. Don't even wanna THINK about Paper 2 and 4 though...
Now, Paper 2 maths!!! ^^

Gosh what's wrong with the exams of May June 2010? So far after doing paper 6 Coordinated Science & ahving heard from a lot of my friends, most of the exams this year are hard :-\ :'(

Hey I did IGCSE Maths last year. But I'm doing Add Maths this year and this year is hard. God, can't imagine how hard more Add Maths can get lolz ;D

who takes History?!!!! How did you people do?! it wasnt hard but i missed out on a few details like the fact that hitler wanted to make the aryan race more dominant ... basically those kinds of details ... What questions were hard? Do i lose a lot of grades because of that? and another question does PERFECT neatness have such a grand effect on your gradE?
