i just agreed a contract to develop a heat exchanger for a solar power company. It may lead to sponsorship of freeexampapers, the forum and maybe some students to go to university. At any rate it is a chance maybe for students to make some money maybe.

The physics is only a level standard and involves mostly fluid dynamics, thermal dynamics and gases. We have two weeks to produce a basic design that the company can place orders for components on the basis of.
I have contacted the programmer and he is also involved, because the company want us to build a computer model which can be improved over time.

I am on a very old slow computer until my server has finished a disk check and cant post much until tomorrow.
We need the best mathematicians, physicists and computer geeks in the forum to work on this.

As per the contract how long do you have to develop the exchanger ? I am doing A levels next year and might be interested...

We have to weeks to get the first design out. After that we have to develop and improve it just as with any design.

Sounds interesting, but i havent started my A levels yet, starts from june 14th.

I recommend Nid, ~A.F~, the dude and Tyserius - Arguably the best mathematician after u in the forum ( To my knowledge)

im doing applied mechanics now :D
and i will be doing fluid mechanics next sem :D
and i know double integration / partial derivatives in maths (along with some unit vectors and gradients)
and im dooing engineering thermodynamics this sem :D

My whole system was down for two days and I coulndtnt email the signed contract. They havent replied yet
