Hey guys,
I just want to ask: from which year must I start doing past papers? It seems to me that 2002, 2003 are too old.
I'm taking:
Chemistry
Physics
Biology
Math
Arabic
So what year must I start from? Thanks in advance :)

My teachers suggest from 2002 to 2009 both May/June and October/November...

If you're doing it in the summer session, do the summer papers. If you're doing the winter session - you get the point.
Why?
- November session is for repeating students - therefore if you do the past papers looking at the grade thresholds, you can forget an accurate skill test.
- Not only that, but the exam may have different content than that of the May session that same year. Don't expect topics covered in O/N 2009 to pop up on your exam (e.g. if you do History and the O/N paper 1 has a UN question in it, the odds are that the M/J paper 1 has the Vietnam/Cuba topic.
Oh also try limiting yourself to 2007-2009 for increased reality. (for those that do Economics this year you only have the 2009 papers at your disposal. Exam structure changed.)

I'm doing Economics this year. Even though the paper structure has changed, they're still pretty much the same though. Paper 1 is multiple choice, paper 4 and paper 2 have been combined to become paper 2, and paper 6 has turned into paper 3. So I don't really get your point with us having only 2009 papers at disposal :-\.

Well it's just pretty much for increased reality rather than question practice. If you're struggling with the structuring of the questions like I was in term 1, practising on similarly-structured papers will indeed help.
If you need to practise because you're insecure about the topics then be my guest try whatever you can get a hold of.

Thanks everyone. TheRock especially.
Just one thing: I have seen past papers, and they don't repeat much questions, so I disagree with doing very old past papers. Thanks anyway!!

I'm not doing Biology but here's a heads up.
There's been a question on tooth decay in May/June 2002 and 2006 (not in other years or sessions), and people seem to miss that topic while revising because "it never comes up". Anyone spot the pattern?

Not only for bio, for every subjects. Since the syllabus has changed, I'd recommend you to do from 2006 till recently. ;)
