base is the same

so x+2= (x+3)2
x+2 = x2+6x+9
x2+5x+7=0

solve the quadratic equation
u get x= -2.5

I got da ans.
3x+2=3x+32
3x*32=3x+32
9*3x=3x+9
9*3x-3x=9
3x(9-1)=9
3x*8=9
3x=9/8
x=ln(9/8)/ln3
x=0.107(3 s.f)

It cud also b done using iteration.

It's cos he factorised 3^x out of the equation to get 3^x(9-1)
