okay..now..I need your help
My need to buy a laptop to gift it to my brother!
He is good at animation, so mostly he will use the pc for 3D animation, 3D modeling, simulation, visual effects, rendering, matchmoving, and compositing.
Can you suggest me any good laptop to buy..??
Any company is okay..
My budget is around
650 Dollers
that is...around 440 GBP
Which one to buy?

there is a lenovo laptop 600 dollars.....
2199 dhs...
its really good, except it has no video card, which is required for graphical stuff.
lenovo g550
-ram 3 DB DDR3
-dual core 2.2 ghz T4400..
-320 HD..
-LED screen... something like 15.4" or 15.6"
-windows 7
-AHCI Hard-disk mode (something technical, it means hard disk is really good)
-camera, hdmi output, bluetooth, Wlan, veriface for security...
-no video card, it uses inbuilit video card -- USES RAM for graphics - (that accelator thingy is there)
pasted mine...
Minimum Graphics Memory: 32 MB
Maximum Graphics Memory: 1292 MB
Graphics Memory in Use: 78 MB
u can get a really good graphic card for $50... but the only problem is that, if u can fit it in the laptop or not.....
xfx geforce 9400gt and 9500gt 1gb are around $50..... which is very good for animation, but u have to ask lenovo or something, whehter it can be attached in the laptop or not......

i know another model, which is EXCEPTIONAL for all purposes...
cost is little high, because it has a very good processor (intel i5)
DELL insprion 1564.... (ask them for the one with i5 processor, dont take the one with i3)...
i5 is better than i3, and the price difference is not much, so it is better to put in little more money and get DELL inspiron 1564 with an i5 processor...
the future processors series are going to be i3, i5 and i7 :D
COST - 3000 AED,,, $816, its quite more, but its worth the price and its sustainable for many years in future....
it also had 64bit architecture, so u can put 64bit windows 7 WHICH IS WAYYYYYYYYYYYYY FAst because its 64 bit ;)
