dego what is function of relay nueron?tell me the path way of nueron when i touch a hot thing
-
a relay neuron/intermediate neuron/cnnective neuron is a neuron that links sensory and motor neurons together..
u touch a hot object..sensory neurons transfer nerve impulses all the way to your brain, then intermediate, then motor neurons, then u react..
stimulus----->receptors--->sensory neurons---->relay neurons------->motor neurons----> effectors..
hope that helped..
