-

thanks :)
-
my one has 500 gb hdd. 4 GB ram.
This review says you ought to have 6GB ram! wow! Why didn't I get it?!!! ??? http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/hp-pavilion-dv7-1245dx/4505-3121_7-33496193.html
-
THE BAD: Slow performance; low-res screen not ideal for HD content.
Anyway thanks...I will keep it as an option
-
hey wait not this one i guess
-
Wait, thats the old one! my one is 3065 dx one thats the only model available in bangladesh for dv7 till now.
This one: http://reviews.cnet.com/laptops/hp-pavilion-dv7-3065dx/4505-3121_7-33776077.html
Super! The processor is out of the ordinary. It is the BESt laptop I've ever been with.
-
I read a review a few days ago in one of the store computer magazines about a dell laptop here with Core i7 processor. The most robust till now, I guess.
-
Nice! pretty reasonable too ;D
-
Yeah. it cost me 120000 tk (More than the price on the review :( ). Not sure of the price in India though.
Value for money!
-
Get a mac.
Ram should be atleast 4GB
Anyways mac will cost u more, but the user experience is amazing, all all services for 3 yrs i think r free.
hp, very good and reasonable, but nothing compares to mac.
-
My first option is mac....
I want a few more reviews from users on the forum.
It's ok if it's expensive but it should be worth the price i pay....
-
it takes a week, or maybe 2 to get used to at the beginning, but once u've got the hang of it, it feels amazing.
but the only problem with mac, it that there are fewer pirated software, and actually fewer software that work on it
make sure u hav parelells, so that u can run windows on it too,
other than dat, mac is the best option
as u r a girl, and since u may want sth lite to carry
perhaps, a power machine would not be preferable.
u may try the mac book air, but normally, the mac book is a really good option
mac book pro is pretty much the same for the avg user.
-
Cool...thanks dude :)
-
By the way why r u in mac os....i think windows laptop r cheap then mac but dont know abt features never tried mac os!
and nowadays core i3 laptops r pretty cheap!
-
core i3 is pretty much the same as core2duo
-
The only thing that bothers me is I won't have MS Office.......which most schools use..:/
Anyway I shall check both of them
-
Macbook is not the 'value for money' as you may call it. Here, one costs 170000. Plus the MACOS is not too user friendly in my opinion.

I've heard so....but learning it would be fun... :-\

One of my relatives who lives in the Us was supposed to send me an alienware Mx15 laptop. Unfortunately he couldn't. Here one Macbook with average features costs 170000. Whereas I could have got the most robust laptop in the world at that time(the mx 15, now Mx 17) with 3000 dollars (almost equivalent to 170000 taka).
Therefore, with the same budget as a MacBOOK, try buying the DELL alienware Mx 17. Its a gaming laptop and is the most robust laptop in the world. The mx15 cost 3000 when I intended to buy it. The mx17 may cost more than 4000 dollars though.
And MacBook is not at all the 'value for money'. You can get much better laptops as I highlighted above.
-
alienware!!
ill check 'em out too....i jst forgot abt them :-X
Thanks borakk...Thanks a lot
-
alien ware is just too expensive.
mac is nice to handle, and they have really good hardware. the chasis is made of alluminium, so it does not get that hot.
and mac is not that hard, it took me one week to learn, and its real nice, because it does not freeze, it has no viruses.
anyways, ppl who hav not used mac, cant say much, ppl have to be with it atleast for 2 months and then go baq to windows, and u will c the difference.
mac barely freezes, and wen it does it comes baq in seconds.
-
hmm...thanks dude for ur review....helps...
As I mentioned earlier....mac ws my first option
But I'd still like to look for the other alternatives
