Well, we've been provided with Chemistry for advanced level by Peter Cann and Peter Hughes (big fat blue book). It's a bit detailed, but useful. And course there is the textbook AS and A level Chemistry by Brian Ratcliff, etc. Other than that, I just use a jumble of other resources based on the topic.

I find that the Edexcel Student book itself is really good. Please try it.

It has everything you need to know, nothing more, nothing less, and the explanations are very well written.

true. However for CIE, do not use brian ratcliff. Try longman's a level guide, really good. Other ref books would be Ramsden A level chemistry and Chemistry in context. There are other books too, but 3 are more than enough.

Good luck. :)

If you need a reference book, dont buy one, simply go to chemguide.co.uk, and that is the best ref book in the world for a level. Simply amazing.
