Title: How is Inflation Measured ???? Please Help Me

This is a regular IGCSE economics question.

I know that inflation is measured on the RPI. Could someone give me a proper step-by-step asnwer that will get me the seven marks on offer. I know the answer but its just that mine doesnt sound so good.

Plus my book sucks. ;)

I saw inflammation  ;D in the place of inflation and thus thught it was a biology topic
