Title: Which is better?

Both the exam boards, edexcel and cambridge offer students to complete their AS and A-Levels. Which one is better and more renowned for higher studies abroad in the United States of America after completing A-Levels? Also, studying which board will increase chances of gaining an admission with a scholarship there? I have heard many rumours but I really don't know which is better over the other.

Cambridge is better because it later allows u to do edexcel A levels :D
and the camridge results are acceptedin USA easily... nd it is renowned

I mean to say that if you do both your IGCSE and A-levels under Cambridge. Not that you do your IGCSE in cambridge and later A-levels in Edexcel. Would it benefit if I do my IGCSE under Cambridge and A-Levels under Edexcel and go to study in the USA? How much easy would it be to get an admission?

You didn't mention about the scholarships.

I would like to know about scholarship opportunities, in comparision, of studying A-levels under Cambridge and under Edexcel.

I teach maths and I can tell you edexcel have a reputation as an easy exam board.

I want to know which is reputed in terms of higher studies in USA not which one is easy or difficult.

I think its cambridge, considerin their reputation and all. and as astar.. guy says edexcel is easier, i think its wise to do cambridge.

Yes but there is one critical difference, in edexcel, the max grade is an A* in A levels, very recent news, whereas cambridge only has A...

u can now get A* in cie A-levels as well
