Title: Advertisements : Impact upon Children
Post by: $tyli$h Executive on December 27, 2009, 04:17:34 pm
Should there be a ban on television advertisements aimed at children?

Most adverts we see on television are often aimed at children. They often show unrealistic phenomenons.

So, do you think that these type of advertisements, which are targeted at children should be banned overall?

Or maybe, they should continue?

Please remember: This topic is for only those advertisements which are targeted on children, not general advertisements.

I'll join a bit later!

Get this thing rolling!

Cheers!

Yes i do believe this, often children are targeted for their naivety, and often illegal forms of adverts are used in developing countries, which cause children to go crazy for the products.

I believe that adverts should be allowed, but very mild, the tv channels have to make a living u know.

I was watching a cricket match with my little cousin (about 5 years old) and there were perfume commercials with excessive touching, and some condom commercials (where many sperm cells would get blocked by a wall, LMFAO). :D

Well he didn't understand really, so I don't know. :S
