Yeahh both of yur answers are correct
according to this rule:

Log x^k is equal to  =  k log x
eg:

Log x^2 is the same as 2 Log x

As is ur question its 1/2 ln x^2

is the same as  ln x

Because when you multiply 2 by 0.5 it gives you 1 -----> ln x

Good luck!!!
