i have a doubt in physics CIE ASlevel
OCT/NOV 2008
QP 2
Q 7b 2nd part.

voltage across 5000 ohm resistor is 6-3.6=2.4V
resistance of 5000 ohm resistor -thermistor combination =2.4/3.6*2000=4000/3 ohms
1/R=1/R1+1/R2
3/4000=1/5000+1/R2
1/R2=3/4000-1/5000=11/20000
r2=20000/11 ohms
