when you are doing group work, what type of person will you choose in order to make the project success and how if you are with those people who are irresponsible to the project?
Hope anyone can solve this problem. thanks ???

um could u be a little more specific as to what is meant by group work :)
-
the one who take things seriously n really hardworking...those who dont take things for granted....
when its work time they have to work no matter what!
-
yup she's right.....only keep those on ur team who are willing to work and come up with creative ideas.........just kick out those slackers who join ur team only to sit back and take credit for something they didnt do ;)

Hehe... I did much group work at school... Maybe I can help...
First, select a good team-- responsible, enthusiastic, willing to work and cooperate to the full. But yea, do remember that HOW the group works depends very much on the leader. Use the democratic style if possible, it has always worked! Find ways to keep your group motivated... Interested.... Satisfied... And WILLING to work with you.
And while recruiting people.... Important advice: Beware of braggarts...LOL
Many people talk a lot, without necessarily doing anything... Do not be emotional, be rational. Select on the basis of meritocracy. Give the opportunity to those who deserve it, not beg for it. And make sure that you know each and every member of your group. They must not necessarily be friends, you'll make friends along the way...
But they must be credible, responsible, and willing.
Identify WHY-- the purpose-- your prospective group members would want to join you, that'll help to decide later.
Just do not the silly mistake of favouring few members.... It is a demotivation....
And remember to treat them as YOU would like to be treated!
Well, the rest is up to you now!
Good Luck :)!

Do i need to tell the teacher if someone is not doing anything until the last minutes to present the work for the class and they just take my notes which i will present later. This make me nothing to said in the presentation and the lecturer may think that i do not done my job while they did ?
If yes, the lecturer may deduct marks for the group cooperation or frendship may break.

How much time do you have left...? Before submitting your work?

After the presentation means mission complete
If this is happen after the presentation and how if it is a week before the presentation?

What I had once done:
Two of my group members had not worked when they were supposed to. Two days were left before we had to submit our work. I dragged them till the library... Made them sacrifice all their breaks, all free periods, etc. Sat with them, and made them work hard.... even though we didn't really need any of their research. What was important was that I MADE THEM WORK. That's all.
Gosh... I can't believe... But I really did that!!! :D

Always welcome Lastgift :).
Hehe... Zara... I did worse... ::) ;)
Once I made my group remove all their posters 15 minutes before the Ministers would come... Just because I wanted it to in the form of a cross... If they didn't need me, they would have killed me! Surely!! ;D
But when the cross was made, their anger vanished.... all by itself... :)
I'm grateful to the members... They have been cooperative, and most of all, patient...hehehe..... but we did nice jobs together... Miss those moments now... Some were even running when I asked them: Have you completed your job yet? ;D ;D
Okay... I'm shutting up now... Some will get afraid.... LOL, am not a monster. I just like everything to be well-done. ;)

I really hate it when a group member doesn't give a damn about the project.
I went to the teacher once to ask if i could do the project by myself since no one in my group was interested, and she said go ahead. I nailed the presentation good! The others did some research the day before and almost failed the presentation :D
They weren't my real friends so i didn't have to worry ;)
