Can anyone help me with how to calculate the genotype in bio..
or calculating the genotype frequency??
-
is that an IGCSE doubt???/??i have never seen anything like that in the syllabus or any past paper...
-
yup its igcse....
ill give a link to the question...
please help...
-
which past paper is it from?? I mean the year..
-
ohhh this ways....dude u scared me...u dont need any of those things that u asked..
just see that P is dominant and p is recessive
so the yellow can only appear is it is pp
now make a genetic cross for each of the options nd u'll see that for the C part
the results are PP,Pp,Pp,and pp
so only one on four is yellow...
nd as u can see that very rarely yellow sorns are found in the diagram so the answer dhould be C
tell me if u still dont get it
-
ya the answer is C.. but its not necessary to do it with that procedure as it takes time..sometimes u can just make out that there r a few purple and yellow sseds..so the parents genotypes should be hetrozygous that is Pp*Pp
-
ya nits even i do it dt ways...was just tru=ying to explain it to poker
-
lol...thanks... ;) ;) ;)
I was making it soooo complicated...
