i have stuck up in a MCQ!!

pls help and explain!!


In 2006 the indian company Ratnagin Gas and Power bought another Indian power company,Dabhol Power.
Wat type of integration is it???
A. conglomerate
B. horizontal
C. vertical backwards
D. vertical forwards


i think it is B bu the ms says it is D??

how can it be so???

The answer is B.It is because both company merge in the same stage of production.

but then i opned a wrong ms and saw D is the ans!!
