Title: bussiness vs accounts

am planning to take either bussiness or accounts but  i need to know which is easier relatively in terms of xams nt studyin' since i'll do da same studyin' for any subject.

acc. to me b. stds is easy!!
accounts yu need to know formuas and all those!!

one mistake somehwewre while calculating... the wholething mught go  worng!!

Um, this is a little late but I'll reply anyways.
I take both Business and Accounts, and both are my stronger subjects out of the 7 subjects I take.

In terms of exams, I would say Accounting is slightly harder. Theory is relatively easy as it's mostly understanding how the double-entry system works, accounting terms, concepts and conventions. It's easier to score Accounting as it basically consists of formulas, and as I've mentioned above. However, you have to be extremely sure of the formulas, as the shrey has mentioned, one small miscalculation and you would end up getting the entire thing wrong. If you're not good with memorizing formulas, I wouldn't recommend Accounting.

Business is easier because there's not really a fixed answer, although of course, for some questions there are. Business studies requires a lot of understanding of the business terms. That's how I personally see it.

but wen i went to a skul to get my admisions for 11th a levels they told me that Accountings is easier casue they include mathematical part which is scoring..!
dont know how much this is true..!  ???

If you are strong in Mathematics, then by all means, go ahead and take Accounting :)

I took BOTH! and I go with ACCOUNTING.

Although last session many students said it was difficult. But still I think it is easier than Business. =D

i took accountin' finally since most of u recommended it 'n i tink i can do w/ remebrin' formulas...i do Alvl math anyway  ;D

ohh great..... going to tell u one thing but dont get de motivated.....
i also had taken accounting for igs.... jst for trial i had my first class on monday i went for it it was jstr the first period nd the teacher started the lecture...... i did not understand head or the tail of it nd slept in d class.. my firend wole me up after d class nd then next day i jst dropped the subj.... mann i thought add. math is rather intresting choice....... i thjink accounting is scoring but not intresting....!

intresting wouldn't come in the same sentence with accounts...
but i had 2 choose a non- science subject which is relatively easy so i made this choice...
 but Thanks anyway...i'll try 2 keep ma head up in class :D
