anyone taking the paper 3 physics on monday?
are you guys prepared?
can anyone tell me if i have to know lenz law about induced magnetism?
-
taking paper 3 on monday
you probably do have to know lenz's law
my teacher did stress it quite a bit
but i doubt there'll b a question asking you to define the law lol
probs jst stating wot u have to do with the magnet in the electromagnet to make the galvanometer change readings ;D
-
guys even im doin paper 3 on monday...
nd i just have one advice...DO NOT LEAVE ANY PART THINKING THAT IT HASN'T EVER BEEN ASKED
cuz dt makes it more prbable for this session...
i did bio paper 3 as well last week...nd i didn't believe dt all the things dt had never come ever....did come this time...nd shocked evry1

i so agree.. i was very shocked at this session's bio ppr3..
and just to let you know guys, i found a really good alternative to the combined resistance of parallel components formula in my textbook!!
original --> 1/R=1/R1+1/R2+...+1/Rn
newly found--> R= R1*R2*...*Rn/R1+R2+...+Rn !!!
it works just as fine!! :D :D :D

i suppose it only works for R1 + R2
-
1/R=1/R1+1/R2... is the formulae for paralle rit??
-
1/R=1/R1+1/R2... is the formulae for paralle rit??
thats what he said..read it again dude!
-
read!!
but then wat were ya telling??
-
"original --> 1/R=1/R1+1/R2+...+1/Rn
newly found--> R= R1*R2*...*Rn/R1+R2+...+Rn !!!"
this formula wont work for 1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3..
-
hmm..!!
getting a hang of it!!

huh ur rite lol
sorry the question i solved only had 2 resistors in it ... :o
-
u can do it like (R1+R2+R3...+Rn)/(R1*R2*R3...*Rn)!!!
why isnt this possible!!
-

1/R1 + 1/R2 + 1/R3 doesnt simplify to that u've posted
-
ohh ya!!
when in tried it! i gt the ans!!
true!
better to use orginal formulae!!
-
guys this one is a much easier method to find the conbined resistance of a parallel circuit:
(R1*R2)/(R1+R2)
-
this is to find resistance of only two resistors in parallel!!!
not more than two!!
-
guys this one is a much easier method to find the conbined resistance of a parallel circuit:
(R1*R2)/(R1+R2)
In my physics text book it says that, that formula can only be used for TWO resistors connected in parallel not more... so its jus better to stick to the other formula because u will never go wrong with it. :)
-
i guess many people here are sitting to invent new formula!!

i already said that. :P
-
i saisd that but after aadi!! :P :P
-
does anyone know or have the grade boundarys for all subjects for may june 2009 ?
-
freeexampapers has all of them mate..

yeah agree wid u adi... but anywayz wat stupid topics r u concentratin more on...i like d word probs dey r simple if u know d formula
-
they are not stupid!!
i found abt them today!!!
