plz helpp asap.....

aren't u supposed 2 use symbol for resistance instead of wires??
-
Even I had doubt inthat question, anyone please help
-
yeah plz asap!!!
-
I didnt get this one either.. :-\
Can any one help me with question 1 b, c, and d. (below)
I dont get it, it should be a simple times question but I just dont get it? Is there something I'm missing??
For b (ii), i got 5212.65mm and the answer was 5.57....? ???
Please help! :)

hey dont worry abt diagrams when YOU print dem....i know the measuremnts for all diagrams r diff, but in d exam it will b d correct... this is cuz of d scale...
-
i think this should be a correct diagram!!
-
i think this should be a correct diagram!!
kk... hope dey dont ask such a confusin quest in d exam...
-
i think this should be a correct diagram!!
B and D are not joint in the diagram in the paper.
-
B and D are not joint in the diagram in the paper.
u r rite!!
done!!
check back
-
u r rite!!
done!!
check back
yea..that is correct..u sure u gotta put those boxes?
-
those boxes are the symbol for resistances....thats wt it requires...the question
-
i think ur answers are wrong!!
they say check the resistance of wire!!
not resistor!!!
-
i didn't get u shrey!!!pls explain wt u r saying!!
-
i didn't get u shrey!!!pls explain wt u r saying!!
i just lved the questio paper!!
it says that they are investigating theresistance of wire not resistor!!
so it must not be resistor ka sign!!!
got it???

can ne1 temme how 2 get accurate results in lens n bulb experiments???
-
daken the room,,
move the lense slowly to get a fixed piont!!
keep the ruler fixed!! so that reading are not affected!!
-
can ne1 temme how 2 get accurate results in lens n bulb experiments???
as shrey said
-dark room
- move the lense to get a SHARP IMAGE (not fixed point)
-repeats
-always view the base of the pin
-

i cant darken d room because many ppl give d prac at a time...v dnt get indivisual rooms n i dnt think ne1 gets indiv. rooms.
so ne other way?
-
ohh so taking pracs!!
then do the other steps!!
-

so ne other way?
i have listed down few
here is 1 more i found in a ms
- pins shud be far away
read my previous post for more
-
can ne1 temme how 2 get accurate results in lens n bulb experiments???
dim the lights in the room
repeat and take an average
-
as shrey said

i dnt think v can move the lens because d ppr tells us where 2 keep it...v can move d screen.
-

got it???
look at the mark scheme, Adi is rite
-
ya but move it slowly!!
-
i dnt think v can move the lens because d ppr tells us where 2 keep it...v can move d screen.
ok..so yea move d screen
keep the pins far away
view the base of the pins
repeats

where r d pins dude??? i ve never used pins in such exps.
-
adi_toxic's answer is right for nov 08 paper
i have my collection of solved past papers infront of me .. ASK ME PEOPLE! :P
-
dude how come??
wat are you talking abt!!
it must not be resistor ka sign rite???
-
where r d pins dude??? i ve never used pins in such exps.
oh sry, those are for light experiments invloving prism. keep that in mind. helpful.
-
dude how come??
wat are you talking abt!!
it must not be resistor ka sign rite???
no no adi_toxic's diagram is right, the boxes are resistors
-
i guess not they asking abt wires rite???
so how come boxes!??
-
i guess not they asking abt wires rite???
so how come boxes!??
question says: use the standard symbol for a resistance to represent each of these wires. the only symbol i know is the rectange for a resistor ..
-
i guess not they asking abt wires rite???
so how come boxes!??
i find this ambiguous.
the q says "Use the standard symbol
for a resistance to represent each of these wires"
it doesnt say standard symbol of resistor!...it says resistance
so shud it be the box/or wire or other standard symbol
pretty ambiguous
-
i remember this q was asked in our class test!!
i drew boxs sir had killed me for that thing!!!
-
i dunno shrey, but my teacher's answer was the rectange boxes .. mm very ambiguous indeed :P
-
true!!
i guess this type of q doesnt come!!
tooo ambiguous!!
-
By the way where is astar!!
he can tell something abt it!!!
-
guys even i had this thing in one of my exams...nd i drew the same diagram as i have given b4...nd it was right....wts so ambiguous in it??
-
it says wire!!
so how can wire be given symbol of resistor!!????!?!??!?!???
-
arrey wire is a resistance only naaa.....
even a bulb can be represented by a rectangle cuz its also a resistance....
-
ohh!
so have you done it ever!!
it is foolishness to use resistance symbol for bulb!!
dude ur joking!!! or serious!!
-
i am serious man....!!!!!!!!!
U CAN UE A RECTANGLE FOR A BULB....
any resistance can be represented as a rectangle
-
okay guys relax... i got my answer... Thanks a lot!.. ;) END OF DISCUSSION!! lol ;D
-
i am serious man....!!!!!!!!!
U CAN UE A RECTANGLE FOR A BULB....
any resistance can be represented as a rectangle
lol..isnt that obvious shrey...pagal ho gaya hai kya?
common sense dude
