plz can you help Jun.06 paper 2 Question 17(b)? I know the answer from mark scheme but I don't know why. thanks. ???

n(AUB) = n(A) + n(B) - n(AnB)

here n(AUB) = 29
n(A) = 18

n(B)=11

therefore n(AnB) has to b 0

so they are distinc sets

no intersection
