Title: ICT june 2009 paper 2....help!!

Hey guys,

I wasnt able to complete question 44 in the jun 09 ICT paper 2..!!

My exam is in 3 days!!!........so if any one can help me it will be much appreciated... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Please complete the question and give me a guide to doing it myself..!!

The files are attatched with this post...!!!

P.S: if your date format is like the american format.......use the file "j9sales2.csv"

OKay first

1) fit on single page
File
Page setup
potrait
fit in page width and height

note.....it won't fit on a page as yet....so go to the next part

2)filtering
select the field
go to data>filter

a drop down appears....for week you do 35
for date...click custom
you'll get a window
in the first drop down....put greater than...and to it's right 01/01/2009
and
in the second put less than...31/01/2009

thennn
3) select the field not require......go to format>column>hide

4) expand the columns so the field names are completely visible

5)click on the date field and staff field>data>sort>ascending order for date first..then by staff
6) view>header and footer>custom.....in the middle type mini tours and in the right tyoe ur name,centre,candidate no

Wait a second.....!!!

U r using Microsoft excel!!!

I have to use Microsoft access!!!

It shows in the marking scheme...

I can do it with excel but i dont think it is allowed!!!!

ok can u tell me which part you have a problem with

you know to sort right?? this can be done in the query...the query can further be used to make the report.....


which part r u not getting....the report or the query?
Accordingly i can put down what you need

I have a problem with he third part of the question....

I tried to sort the "week" and "date" fields in the query......but it isnt working....

I appreciate your help!!!

these r the criteria part

Under week's criteria...type in "35"

Under date's criteria type in Between #date# And #date#
