Title: How to get an A* in First Language English!!!
Post by: Ash16 on September 26, 2009, 12:07:30 pm: Anyone around got an A* In FLE? Ive heard its really hard to get one!! As the exams are drawing closer, i dont know what to study for FLE...any advice ??? And for those of u who din get an A*, cud u guide me as to where u think u lost marks?? I desperately need help :(
whats the A* trick! :o
Any help would be appreciated...! :)

Even I do FLE.....I manage to get an A or a B in my regular classes in school.....but the problem is that my teacher is quiet biased and prefers to give good marks to a few selected kids of our class, even if others are way better, so the problem is that she doesn't give me marks in my exams so I don't really know were I stand and thus can't predict how much I would get in my IGCSE exam which is on the 27th.....any kind of help from anyone plsssss???????????

Post by: nid404 on October 11, 2009, 05:49:13 pm: I had the same problem wid my teacher who had some "favs" as u call it.....but in the end it's cambridge who gives u ur final grades...so don't worry...i always used to get a B in my exams in school....but got an A in boards...

If you wanna know where you stand get a private tutor just to check ur work sort of....so she can grade you....she cannot be biased....

Post by: Muho on October 13, 2009, 02:07:33 pm: Depends on which exam board really. I mean I did Edexcel English First Language and got an A*, thing is, you gotta be totally relaxed. A steady revision would make everything work out well. =] good luck.
