Well i am not an expert, on how to imporove on 2nd Lang becasue I am a First Language Speaker...
Hoever these may help:
Listen to the BBC news on TV and pn Radio.
Read story books that interest you.
Dont try increasing your vocab too much, instead use the words you alreadt know as well as you can
Practice past exam papers in Exam conditions, dont break it up.
-
The dude .. she's asking for paper 2 first language help ..
-
I'd still say no to repeating....it's a waste
Instead think of doing well in A levels
-
will ...
to thos who advice me not to repeat .. i want to repeat .. cause this is not my potential .. i was expected to get an A ... plus .. i want to go and study in UK .. nd most of the univ. require english to be wid a grade of B .. so im kinda forced to repeat....
reading nd listenin to tapes is all gd .. but i want something to improve my way of answering the writters effect question .. plus the summary ...
i mean is there any tips or hints tht u could give me ??

I agree with Nid, it does not really matter, honest. Just concentrate on A levels. Dont resit.

I got an A in english first language....so I'll look for some of my answers to past paper questions and put them up for you to read....and dude is also an excellent student...amazingly scored an A*, so I'd request you to put some of your work up on for him to see..
