I'm doing AS Maths, AS Bio and AS Geo in school.
And I want to do A level Maths in the same year.. how? Will the British council let me? can I do them both in May/June?
-
They may but you need to be sure your grades wont drop. In the current climate too you should not rush. You will find it difficult to get a job when you graduate.
-
u can do them ...but urschool shud let u ...
nd 3 Alevels in one year is tough.... so u myt want to reconsider :D
-
ur school shud contact the cie/british council...
ask them if u can..
-
You can't give both at a time...but u can choose not to give AS and directly give A levels in June...
-
u still havto give the AS level papers ...
for example Accounts has 4 papers ..
2 in AS nd 2 in A levels..
if u want to do Alevels in one year u havto complete all 4 papers ...

Here are the possibilities from the cie website
Assessment Options
Option 1 Take all papers of the international A Level course in the same examination session, usually at the end of the second year of study
Option 2 Take a 'staged' assessment route – take the international AS Level in one examination session and complete the final international A Level at a subsequent session*
Option 3 Take the international AS Level only, either at the end of a one-year or two-year course. The international AS syllabus content is half an A Level programme.
