Hello,
I just wanted to take opinions on what to take on A-level Math.
Pure Mathematics only or Pure Mathematics ad Mechanics or Pure Mathematics and Probability and Statistics.
I'm going to do AS+A2 in one year... so what would be suitable for me?
Can I do Pure Mathematics only for AS+A2?

What do you want to do at uni? I think should be able to since maths is modular.
-
I want to do Aeronautics/Astronautics and Physics
Can I manage to do Mechanics and Pure in 1 year? Because a lot of people told me that I'd fail if I did.
-
it would b tough if u did in 1 yr :\

I'm sure that i can do pure math in a year. But, i just wanted to know whether i'll be able to do mechanics too. Please, astarmathsandphysics you're a professional tutor :p. What is your input in this?

It should be. I did a level eco in 1 year and i had never written am essay. I got an a. However at the moment you Wouldnt lose much by stringing your education out and would get better grades.

Problem is, I have 1 year to finish A-level's as I will be moving to another country.. so.. I have no choice!
-
Will you be at uni in 1 year?
-
Guess so, I'm already going to apply to uni's very soon. Deadlines for most uni's are in jan.
-
It depends then on how confident you feel. And apply to one awful uni for security.

Yep. Fail safe, lol.
My friend applied to Universities that require AAA grades, and he got like BBC. He's in deep sh*t now.
But hey! You should risk things if you want to get somewhere.
