Title: IS TIME A TEACHER
Post by: MaNa on July 10, 2009, 08:07:36 pm
Ok, seemingly this topic is obvious that yes time is a teacher BUT  there are other factor which should be considered

i.e opportunity

so  a person who has been broght up in a educated family who is always been thought from other experience would KNOW MORE then the OTHER person who has NO EXPERIENCE HOWEVER he learns from what happens to him  he wonders around learn things from his obervation

SO WhAT IS IT!! TIME OR APPORTUNITY!?

both of them matter ...

if the time is right , the right oppurtunity iwll be there..
u either hav patience and wait for the time ..... or go out seeking for the oppurtuniy which u hav to feel tht it is right time  now to grab the oppurtunity

confuseing much :P

Time is a good teacher - if you are sane.

Time teaches those who are willing to accept what they are and change.

A stubborn mule will learn nothing whatsoever from his mistakes.

I know many people who are presented with countless opportunities yet they mess up because they dont posess the patience and integrity to pursue their goals relentlessly.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to your nature, attitude and way of living.
This is where time steps in, and teaches you along the way. :)

Good topic MaNa... :D Keep it up!

thanx angell =]
well i believe both of them go together...
u get apportunity at the right time..
but its upto U to take lesson
lets be Honest, most of us go through time which teaches us alot of thing Yet we tend to forget it as a "bad past"we might learn 4m it but 4get it as time progressess
so its us who take things for granted n assume that apportunity will knock our doors
but in realty neither of them come to you
u walk or dance on the beat!

Time and oppertunity co-exist.

There is no clear answer, some are more affected my one and less by the other and vice versa. However, some find if equally important.

In my personal life, i believe that time is the best teacher, because it is time i.e. history that we learn from.

It is experience, another form of time that allows us to make better descisions and thus is a teacher.

It can be a relationship that is built over time.

However, it is the oppertunistic nature of Obama's life that made him the president, if he did not seize the oppertunity to study hard, he would never have gotten to harvard.

Thank you for posting this question, it is one of endlesss debate and philosphy.

Time is a cruel mistress who plauges us with our mistakes. By the time we realise how to prevent those mistakes we realise time has taken one other crucial thing from us.

Our youth.

Depends on the time you take to realize your mistake.  ;)

How is someone supposed to know that?

Vague...

Vague...

Suppose, someone has an exam in May/June. He laxes his studies to cater for his hobbies and just before the exam, realizes his situation.

Then, the outcome will depend on the time which he realizes it. ;)

Deadlines are often definite for many tasks. ;)

Time is a "waiter". It's always waiting for you to notice "that" "something".

If he realizes it on his death bed, then time is not a teacher?  ::)

Okay! Lemme get this straight!

Time teaches you to learn from your past mistakes and to rectify your future path.

Okay! Lemme get this straight!

Time teaches you to learn from your past mistakes and to rectify your future path.

Time waits: For ex. A teacher (suppose that time is the teacher in this case) proposes a math problem and gives you an undertermined, but not infinite, ammount of time to resolve it.
