Title: Chemistry Paper 1 + Mark Scheme Here

So people, i've got with me the chemistry paper 1, which was done on past friday, and its mark scheme that my chem teacher made. I got no problem to share it but I gotta know if it's OK to do it, 'cause I really dont know if it's like, 'legal'.

So, can the admins please answer as quick as possible so I can scan it and possibly putting it here.

but there r no A*s in individual components....dats wat iv heard...

but i think its still an A Seiko...

its compared to helium....so its abundant..n the ans in it is correct.. ;D

Thanks guys ;) I got 38/40, t'was really awesome cause i got 26 on my mock :P

I'll be posting more 2009 papers. I already got the Portuguese and English First Language. There are no Mark Schemes for them. I'm still going to get the Economics, Physics and Biology Paper 1 and I'll try to get the mark scheme if my teachers have availability.

And By the way, it is in fact calcium (A) because it is the only metal and when it reacts with oxygen, it forms an alkali (or basic oxide) (calcium oxide). So, it was the only one which can turn litmus paper blue.

To the helium one, i don't think the question was quite relating to the filament but in fact, to your knowledge about the composition of air and the trends in the noble gases (the further down you go on the group, the more dense they are)

Hey people. I am waiting on more papers. I'll get the Physics and economics Paper 1 tomorrow. Biology paper 1, i'll only get like on Tuesday 'cause my teacher is currently out.

By the way, there is a lil' problem with the mark scheme I posted. Question 26 isn't C, but in fact, it's A. My teacher mis read the question. If it had been talking about the compound (metal E sulphate), then it would be C. We know it's a transition metal because the compound is coloured and if it is a compound, it would have a low density. But the question only asks for the element E, therefore, the transition metal. So, as said in the syllabus, it's got a high density and high melting point. Sorry about that.

That said, I got 39/40 :D

but in the marking scheme you posted the answer for question 26 is A so there is no mistake in the marking scheme bro  ;)
and ya its green and hence its iron (II)  (the percipitate of iron (II) is green) and its a transition metal so it has high melting point aswell as high density. ;D
congrats on getting the extra mark were both 39/40 now 8)
