Someone please help!
Chemistry Paper1 MCQ : May 1995 Q.29 :
Properties of Auminium alloys:
1. low density
2. Good electricity
3.High strength
Which properties are required for making an aircraft:
A. 1 ONLY
B.2 ONLY
C. 1 AND 2 ONLY
D. 1 AND D ONLY.
As per me the answer should be D but Mark schemes says "A".
As per our text book aluminium is strong ..a property needed to make an aircraft.
Pls explain!!!
-
i think its high strength and low density
-
i agree with u,
i think it's answer D

Thanks !

MAY1998 PAPER 1 Q.NO.4
Can someone pls explain what shld be the answer n why;
reaction between solution P and Q is exothermic.
student is asked to test this statement by mixing equal volumes of the two solutions and measure temperature change.
Which two pieces of apparatus would be needed/
clock and thermometer
burette and thermometer
As per mark schem it is clock and thermo.
I feel it shld be burette to measure equal volumes of solution.
