hi anyone knows how area affects density of liquids pls an urgent ans is needed asap my exams 2day!
i don't know if this answers your question but... There's this explanation in my text book:
"An expression for the pressure at depthh in a liquid of density d can be found by considering a horizontal area A. The force acting vertically downwards on A equals the weight of a liquid column height h and a cross sectional area A above it."
Mass of liquid column = hAd
Force on area (A) =10hAd
-
density=mass/volume
volume=area*length
sooo if area increases,volume increases and density decreases and vice versa... :D
ryt?
