pleonism - e.g. tiny little ant (redundant words)
ambigious - two possible meanings of a word
metaphor - compares two subjects without using 'like or 'as'
simile - using "as" or "like"

Tips:
1) Make a list of the key themes that feature in each poem. Note any similarities or
contrasts, reread it 10000x times
2) Re-read your glossary of critical terms and ensure that you know the meaning of
key devices. Particularly important are: ASSONANCE, ALLITERATION, ONOMATOPOEIA, CAESURA, ENJAMBEMENT, SIBILANCE, FREE VERSE.
3) Start writting notes on the paper, but be aware of the time.
4) After u think u have enough notes, start cracking ;)

you didnt get many marks for saying metaphor, similie, assonance etc. The marks u get are mostly how you explain yourself and how you explain how particular words create effects.

i know, but this is the only way to revise for a lit exam since u dont know whats coming up, and hope its easy and u get all the points, this will help alot because it shows the examiner u understand why the writter has added it, and will give u big marks
Remember for everything, PQC ( point, quote, explain )
