36 The diagram represents part of the carbon cycle.
carbon dioxide in air <--carbon compounds in animals(X)<-----carbon compouds in green plants(y)
What processes are represented by X and Y?
X Y
A) combustion photosynthesis
B) photosynthesis respiration
C) respiration excretion
D) excretion nutrition
-
i dont get the diagram but the way i see it is tht its A
can u give me which year so i can see the diagram clearly
-
it is D
-
Its A!..
Quite a trick question but all the other answers seem to be wrong!
So i think its A cuz plants get CO2 by photosynthesis and animals eat plants and use the food they ate and when they die in a 10000000 years they get combusted to give out CO2.. ::)
-
Or wait a second..
it IS D
+ rep for u xTreme.. well observed
-
i remb doin this ques but dont remb da answer...itz either C or D...as far as i remb itz D but not sure...plz giv da year so i can cross-check....Take care n all da best guyz! ;)

Carbon compounds in green plants are transfered to animals during nutrition ( when the animals eat the plants they take in the carbon compounds such as carbohydarates)
Carbon compounds in animals are transfered to air by excretion of Carbondioxide by the lungs (exhalation)

can any1 give me links for p1 revision plzz!!

umm, in real amylas breaks down starch to maltose..which is a disacharride..
so the diagram should be --o--o-- --o--o--
i solved this question earlier
