Title: All the physics laws
Post by: guru007 on June 03, 2009, 09:32:09 am
Hooke's Law gives the relationship between the force applied to an unstretched spring and the amount the spring is stretched when the force is applied.

In optics and physics, Snell's law (also known as Descartes' law or the law of refraction), is a formula used to describe the relationship between the angles of incidence and refraction, when referring to light or other waves, passing through a boundary between two different isotropic media, such as water and glass. The law says that the ratio of the sines of the angles of incidence and of refraction is a constant that depends on the media.

Lenz's law  is an extension of the law of conservation of energy to the non-conservative forces in electromagnetic induction. It can be used to give the direction of the induced electromotive force (emf) and current resulting from electromagnetic induction. The law provides a physical interpretation of the choice of sign in Faraday's law of induction, indicating that the induced emf and the change in flux have opposite signs.

Boyle’s law states that at constant temperature, the absolute pressure and the volume of a gas are inversely proportional. The law can also be stated in a slightly different manner, that the product of absolute pressure and volume is always constant.

PRESSURE LAW The pressure of a fixed mass and fixed volume of a gas is directly proportional to the gas's temperature.

Charles's law (also known as the law of volumes) is an experimental gas law which describes how gases tend to expand when heated. The equation shows that, as absolute temperature increases, the volume of the gas also increases in proportion.

Newton's laws of motion are three physical laws that form the basis for classical mechanics. They are:
1. A body at rest stays at rest, and a body in motion stays in motion, unless it is acted on by an external force.
2. Force equals mass times acceleration (F = ma), and
3. To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

These r da laws

to be studied for p3 physics
Hope it helped!!!!
+rep me if the matter was good !

thts great but there are more laws like hookes law...
great job mate Thanks

By the way: do charles darwin law count in (where any speceies is directly proportional to its habitat within in its variation) lol ;D

In my point of view,
Just a little bit like density and giger muller tubr + most imp. Static electricity !

nop cuz they never ask about the name of the law...what matters the most is how to use each and every law ;)
