Post by: abcdef on June 01, 2009, 03:52:29 am
Hey guys, is that fine if in the exams I answer the questions with the bullet points for describe or explanation questions ? (especially in Geography, Environmental Management, or Biology)

Example :
Describe 2 pull factors that makes people move to MEDC's countries ?

- Better paid jobs,
   - There are more job vacancies in MEDC’s countries.
   - Job with Higher salary.
- Better medical facilities.
  - There are many and better hospitals.
  - The doctors and nurses more qualified.
  - More drugs are available.

Example 2 :
Explain advantages and disadvantages of video conference
Advantages
- People do not need to travel to make conference.
- People who work at home can participate.
- People from many places can participate.
- People can share any files or data.

Disadvantages
- The equipments are expensive.
- Needs to buy webcam or computer.
- Sometimes people are relax and talk after conference, but they cannot do that in video conferencing.
- Need internet and electricity.

If explanations asked u need to explain a little bit.
if time is a constraint bullet points better to ensure u complete the paper

Did you do ICT ?, When they asked about advantages and disadvantages, did you write it in paragraphs ?
I'm scared if the examiner reject my answers :(

in geography YOU HAVE TO WRITE IN FULL SENTENCES!
but if you write it as a list separated by a comma so it looks as a sentence, then thats ok! (e.g. pull factors are jobs and services)

for ict YOU ARE ALLOWED TO WRITE IN BULLET POINTS

i dunno about the other subjects sorry :(
