i cudnt find ne math related topic...so had to start a new topic...

heres my doubt....i kno exams r ova but this is on behalf of summon hu hv their exam tom...so plz help..
An aircraft flies 400km from a point O on a bearing of 025(degrees) and then 700km on a bearing of 080(degrees) to arrive at B.
(a)How far north of O is B?
(b)How far east of O is B?
(c)Find the distance and bearing of B from O.

i resolved the 400km and 700km into the vertical and horizontal components separately
the vertical comp. of 400 is 400sin65
horizontal is 400cos65
the same to 700 km
in the end i drew a triangle with the final results to find the hypotenuse and the angle
