It is possible to even get an A. If you are confident enough, resit for them.

Highly unlikely unless you work yer butt off in A2. Are you seriously aiming for a B when the highest you CAN achieve can be an A*?

I suggest re-sitting if you can. =]

Then if (God forbid) you are not satisfied with yer Oct/Nov grade either then you can choose the June grade back to carried forward to the A2. =]

All the best! =D

An A* from a C ? Do you really think so ?

What she's saying is why aim for a "B" ,when you can possible get an " A* " ;)

That's not possible, I think.

Dude. I meant that he should aim for an A* not B. Therefore, my advice is that he re-sits so that his chances of A* increases cos it's unlikely with a C. ;)

If you want a B, you would need to score approximately 75% or above in Physics and 73% or above in Mathematics. Now, if all you really want is a B then you need not resit, necessarily. Work really hard and you can bump your marks by 6-10% easily. However, like Romeesa said, why not aim for higher? Make your target high so that if it misses, you score just as well.

If you want more than a B and believe you can go that high, then do resit in this exam. Otherwise, work hard for an A* in your A2's; though you can never get an A* with your grades, you can get an A.

Resit the AS with the A2. It will even help you more having better basics and thus performing better in your A2.

I suggest you re-sit for the winter session, A2 papers are usually synoptic i.e they involve alot of basics from the AS therefore if you take the AS exams again, this will help you recap basics that are required for A2.
Good luck and aim for an A, work hard  ;D ;D
