Title: Anybody with 5A* for Edexcel A Levels
Post by: Nexus on July 25, 2011, 09:12:22 pm: Hey guys, just want 2 find out if anyone got 4 or 5A* in A Levels...cause i got 4A* and A so I'm not sure whether to repeat this A to get A*!!

Congratulations By the way, and I guess you should be very happy with what you've got and move ahead, attack some really great Uni that truly deserves a student like you ;)..don't look for that tiny star which the last A missed, think of it this way, if you'd've got that done, probably it'd have gotten your head all swollen up..:P...it is just to make you realize that there is always room for improvement... ;)

WOW! And that is an ALevel result not IGCSE or equivalent!! :o

Nope better to move on....your uni chance must be superb

4A* an 1 A can get you in the top universities :D

Hey M-H I knw what u mean ;) have seen that happen to plenty of kids..thankz fr the advice too..
Anywz I'm doing my SATS now ..so i guess I shldnt worry too much about Edexcel....the problem I had was that I heard NUS(National University of Singapore) requires 4A* minimum..but now i'm not very sure abt it..any views on that??

Where are you planning to apply? That might determine your need to repeat ;)
