im nt sure which career im going to take up bt its definately in bussines!!
so i need 4 subject!! i have 1. bussines(for sure)
2. economics(for sure)
im nt sure about accounts, maths and computer studies!
so if u could plzzzzzzzz drop in a few experienced advice if u took these subject and etc etc!!

Depends on yer field you wanna further study in.
I'd suggest taking Math and Accounting- to keep yer options open.

Seconded.
We won't be able to help yuh unless yuh don't know what yuh wanna do when yuh grow up. ::)
Accounting is necessary since it's too different from business studies and economics. AS level math is what yuh need if yuh are looking forward fer bba/MBA and so on. So i'd prefer taking business studies, economics, accounting and AS math. :D

@ romeesa- da thing is i dnt really like accounts or maths and im nt dat good at it either!
@crooked- im nt even sure der are soo many thing i wanna do we i grow up :) management maybe, or actuary? i dnt want 2 do ACCA so i ddnt consider accounts bt i tink im gonna take it anyway!
wat bout maths....is it really DAT necessary?? because i hate maths and i enjoy computer n am gud at it!
??? ??? ???

You might like it in AS level. For example, I loathed Physics during my IGCSE but when I actually studied it myself during AS Level . . . It became my fav. subject!
According to me, Math is a very important subject and it'll be a benefit fer you if you have it.
First and foremost, decide yer field first then choose yer subjects.
If you are confused about which field to go to, I suggest you do Istikhara for it. (: Best option we all have! :D
Good luck, chere!

Accounting is not needed fer ACCA only. Accounting is one of the basis of ANY business. Yuh'll need Accounting to grasp theories in yer MBA too.
Why not look fer some field in computers ? :-\ Do whatever Romeesa said. =/

Accounting and Maths are the best subjects for you.
And between, if you learn to love the things you have to do, life is going to be a lot smoother.
Get to work. :)
-
ICT is also an option, Its a nice subject and not too difficult plus it helps people who take business and stuff
I would also recommend Math to you, Its an important subject in my point of view
Edit: You mentioned that you like computers? Then I would suggest you to take ICT/computer studies and why not look for some field which involves computers or do you like business more?
-
If you took Accounting for IGCSE then you won't find almost any differences in the AS.
Accounting is definitely one of the easiest subjects ever and I never stopped loving it, and because I really enjoyed what I'm doing my teacher asked me to teach accounting in the future.
As for Math AS, another easy subject but you will find differences between the AS syllabus and the IGCSE one.
Accounting is a scoring subject and MANY people do agree to that. You just need to learn the formats and then everything else applies to that. Try looking on it in another direction.
I took Math A-level and Accounting A-level so I did the AS of both and they were really fine. =]
However, you could think about having other choices if you really dislike those subjects like for example English ?
-
hmm mabe u shuld drop either econ / business (its almost the same) , there's much better possibilities with the other 3 ( i/t , accounts & maths)
I/t becomes essential in almost any subject now a days so u might consider that , & accounts is essential when it comes to anything in business , so u might wanna consider that ! , Maths could be your option too if u plan to take BS , probably stat would come in handy !, but for econ its nt that important
but after all all these depends on what u think u wanna b
-
^ If you dont want to drop any of it then there is also an option of Business with eco (counted as 1 subject) so you can have 3 other choices
My bro did it like that

actually i like bussines more :)!
BUSINESS WITH ECO...REALLY? TELL ME MORE!

Economics and Business.
But if your country works the way mine does, chances that you're going to have to pass through an 'accountancy stage' to rise up to the position are high.
Take Accounting as a puzzle, find where you have to place the correct pieces of it, and you're done. ;)
And yes, if you work very well in P1 and P2, and on a lower level (like a bit close to failure) in P3 and P4, then it's still possible to get an A in Accounting.
Our pleasure. :)

Oh I see..
Yes you can study Business with eco, check with your school/college if they offer it
I dont know much detail about it but I know that there is such a subject in which you can study business together with eco (as one subject)
I'll get more detail and inform you :)

You are right. This option is a possibility too.
But not all schools offer it.
Anyway, transfers are good when necessary.

So why don't you take English? It's a very useful subject and will help you a lot in everything.

ok....but if u could get the text book and study during this holidays it would be much easier....u could take help from anyone who took psychology in AS in SF.
im planning to start S2 in the holidays because my school wont teach S2...and if i dont understand i'll ask for help.
good luck with your choice twin.

If you can't work well in P1 and P2, don't expect to do so in P3 and P4. Other way round = forlorn hope.:P
