Title: HOW CAN CHEMISTRY PAPER 3 AND ACCOUNTING PAPER 3 BE CONDUCTED AT THE SAME TIME!!

HI GUYS IM LIVING IN KUWAIT AND IM TAKING IGCSE EXAMS THIS SESSION 2009 AND WHEN I WAS CHECKING MY TIMETABLE WITH MY FRIEND'S TIMETABLE I FOUND THAT THERE IS IGCSE ACCOUNTING PAPER 3 ON 1 JUNE AT 9:30 AM AND AT THE SAME DATE SAME TIME THERE IS CHEMISTRY PAPER 3 TOO!!!! HOW COME IF SOMEONE IS TAKING THE TWO SUBJECTS WILL HE SPLIT HIMSELF INTO TWO HALVES OR WAT IS THIS AN ERROR OR WAT HAPPENED AND THE STATEMENT OF ENTRIES ARE ISSUED BY THE CIE AND I CHECKED MY STATEMENT OF ENTRY WITH OTHERS AND THE SAME SHOCKING RESULT WAS FOUND!

this is called a clash, they do one exam at a time, so in ur case either chem then accounting or accounting and then chem (they wont know which one to do first) and they get a 5min break in between

By the way what school are u from ??

As Q80BOY said this is called a clash. So contact your IGCSE coordinator, your centre or the British Council-Kuwait. Ofcourse its not only you, but you should have noticed this before.

im givin my igcse's this year and i hv da same problem....since im taking both accounting and chemistry.....but i asked my teachers and they said tht i'll have to giv both the exms in one sitting(no braeak in btwn. :o :o :o) but we ae soldiers in the battle against eduction so we must on.... :(

I said either talk to your IGCSE coordinator in your centre or talk to the british council in your country

They will fix it, my friends got a clash in two subjects and everything was solved

i think accounting will be conducted first and then chemistry

Yea i talked to my head and she is like with a 5 minute break inbetween the two exams..
