I took AS Edexcel Math C1 , C2 and M1 => they all need practice since it's Math but they were quite easy :)

I do not have first-hand experience with Edexcel Math, but I have read around the forum and heard, in general, that CIE A-Level Math is more difficult. When it comes to just CIE, my experience is that P1 is pretty simple, while P3 drains the blood out of you. :D Depending on which other papers you appear in, they could be better/worse; S1 is sweet, M1 seemed very easy but gave me a hard time in the finals. In general, A-Level Math was a demanding subject but not something that could not be maneuvered. Good luck in your studies!

Honestly, which board you do doesn't really matter cos Universities just want the grade.
CIE Math is tough and more in depth. Edexcel Math is comparatively easier but easy (remember that).
-CIE Math has 2 papers: P1 which is compulsory and M1/S1 (depending which you choose).
-Edexcel Math has 3 papers: C1,C2 and M1/S1 (depending which you choose).
Good luck! (:
I hope I was clear enough! :P
