really important
does stanard deviation change in coding??
does inter quartile range change in coding??
-
standard deviation will not change if for example the coding given is something like y=x-20 where the standard deviation is 3.641
when asked to find the standard deviation of the original data, it will be the same
however the standard deviation will change if the coding given for instance is y=x+100/2 where the standard deviation is 12.342
the standard deviation of the original data will be 24.684
adding 100 has no effect but the division by 2 has halved the standard deviation
and about the interquartile thing i am really not sure dude :/
i dont know if it even has got to do something with the coding lol
but i hope the above helped :D :)

huh....dude wat r u all talking about....im giving s1 paper too....and wat is all this coding about ???
can someone please tell me!!!
-
lol are u an edexcel student?
-
thanks alot studz u have been real helpful
i just saw a paper and started solving it and i faced a question like this which is better to represent data with IQR or standard dev.
and coding was involved ;)
