Can anyone tell me how to do question 2 b from Bio paper 3 may june 2009 _32

4 division of stage micrometer = 0.3 mm

Radius = 0.15 mm

use 3.14 * ans2

= 3.14*.152

Help me out here !!
How do u get 3 division to be 3 and radius as .15 ??
are we suppose to take da magnification into account ?

ure help is appreciated thx a lot !

You have four marks in diagram so 3 divisions.

1division = 0.1 mm

Diameter = 0.3 mm

Radius = 0.3/2

R=0.15mm
