Does CIE check the practical note books before the main exam?

The practicals you've done in class and recorded in a notebook.
I've heard Edexcel used to do that.  :-\

Why would they do that ?

Practical examinations are not offered for Edexcel international students.

'Lab Manuals' are not checked by the CIE.

My Physics teacher thought it would be amusing to say that because I haven't completed half my graphs. ::)
