What are the tips for getting good grades ? i knew the whole paper so well ! but yet i ended up with a D , i couldnt believe it... so im thinking the way i wrote stuff was not satisfactory ? or what .... if its about information i knew each and every question.. and i got to revise my paper aswell

Do some CIE papers. If you can do those you can do anything.
