Madness in America
Why do people think Americans are free? Sarah Palin last week incited the murder of her political oponents - one of them is critically ill, and the 'colateral damage' included a nine year old girl. Obama can't force Israel to the peace table because Congress supports Israel to the hilt, and maybe a quarter of Americans will die without medical treatment if the suffer from a serious disease.
Freedom in America is not even a right to free speech if your opponents target you when you open your mouth. Incredible though it may seem, after the Democratic congresswoman was shot, supporters of the right to bear arms organized a festival, where the bearing of guns extended right to pre school boys and girls - with a competition held where the prizes were guns - blue ones for boys and pink ones for girl.
At least the congresswoman was an American. If she were a foreigner, she could have been labelled with so many meaningless phrases, as Julian Assange has been, and targeted for bombing or elimination a la Pakistan or extradition to Guantanamao, as Julian Assange may still be.
Freedom has it's price, even for Americans. The Chinese Governent holds more than a trillion dollars of US Government debt. You can bet Obama will be praying they don't sell it and plunge the US into economic crisis while he is prancing about on TV and toning down his rhetoric talking human rights with the Chinese Prime Minister now in Washington.
