I wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and may we all share the love and happiness in this most holiest of seasons.

Hanukkah is a very holy Jewish festival. Its name comes from the Hanukkah menorah which are the candles that burnt at the holy temple for 8 days during the revolt of the maccabees.

It was actually celebrated on the 1-9 December so it's more like a belated celebration.  ;D

Incorrect. You've misunderstood.

People celebrate Christmas ONLY on the 25th of December. The merriness of the season continues till early January.
