Guys, in maths AS, i do P1 and P6.
If i think i got a mark like 59/75 for Paper1, and i know im gonna do well in Paper 6 by gettin about 45/50, what are the chances of me getting an A?

Hmm..........you should never be over-confident. Aim high but not over-confident ;)
Anyway...........59/75 ---> I guess you lost your chances to get an A* :-[
Try to get maximum marks in S1 :D
Fat chances to get an A with these marks ----> threshold is sure to be decreasing for p1 :)

Ooh yeah.........i missed that part. Indeed A* is for A2 which I am sitting for ;)
Statistic 1 ---> p6 ----> S1 :P

haha ok thankx :) and so would u reckon that if i get about 45 in S1, i would get an A overall?

The weighting of the papers will be different and of-course higher in P1 (About 60% in P1 and 40% in S1), so try to get highest in P1, so afterwords if You get 35 or more in S1, you might get an A in Maths AS!!

Yupz.......you are right buddy.
But still you should always aim high in any paper......whether it's p1 or s1 ;)

On the front page of the CIE math exams it says : "You are remined of the need for clear presentation in your answers"
Does that mean we have to underline our answers or something?
it sounds like they just want it to look pretty...
I didn't underline..when i got my =answer..i left it

Hmm........I don't think you need to underline your answers :-\
But you need to provide a neat working and if possible point out your answers with the help of an arrow. That's how i do ;)
But I don't think you'll be losing marks for that :D
