Guys what was Question 6 in P12? And what did u get?

Hmm.........the answers I obtained were :

i) 0 < K < 4

ii) You need to replace k = 4 in both equations and then solve them simultaneously to obtain the coordinates of the point of intersection ;)

beautiful :) same here lol though a lot of people i asked told me they simply got k=4. it had to be 0 < K < 4 instead right? my coordinates were (0.5, 2)

anyways for the rate of change question, were we just meant to plug in 5 to our differentiated equation?

for the functions question, what did u guys get for the range of g(x) and the domain of g^-1(x)?? i think i got >3 for the range and <3 for the domain. Was it just > or was it >=? ...and also how did u calculate h(x)?

for the last question, I only managed to find the volume under the line AB due to time issues. How many marks do u think i would get out of 9 for that?

Hmm.......i don't really remember the coordinates but am sure there is half among them ;)

Yeah........it was not worth much marks.......so the differential equation was bound to be simple.

Sorry dude.......but I can't remember the range :-[
Though for h(x) = F(x) / g(x) ----> only one mark was allocated for this.

Hmm.........that was only half of the whole work......I guess you'll manage 4 marks :-\

Yeah.........the paper was much easier for June this year though ;)

Masha Allah for your A :)

Hey am telling you this with experience........I sat for June papers variance 2. Indeed the p1 and M1 was so easy that I expected full marks.

Unfortunately I was not well prepared for p3 and S1 then, so I got a B in Maths :-\

u and me in the same boat tbh =\
got A in p1 buh overall i got B , was very dishearted since u know i was not at all expecting B -.-
anyways, ur repeating math , all components ? this nov session?

haha alright thanks bro :) By the way for that k question, i was askin if the answer was: 0 < K < 4   or if it was just simply k=4

Me too.........but I knew I did not manage all the numbers in S1 and p3. So i did not deserve an A. SO my B was a fair result.

To tell the truth, I should have sat for this november only. Then I said that I may try in June as well, just to get to know how the exams were. ;)

And yes, am sitting for all the sessions :D

First part of the question asked for the set of values ----> So answer is bound to be 0 < K < 4

I understand your anxiety........since it had been specified in the question that k is a non-zero constant.

Furthermore I don't think k=4 is a set of values ;)
