It's not just a lot of big words you need to know to do well in igcse.
you need to have linguistic sophistication . -____- . knowing a lot of big words is not necessarily important.

Everything helps, especially a good vocabulary. If you know how to use the 'big words' it'll work to your advantage.

However, good vocabulary is vital if you want to get an A*, but you are right too.

No I'm serious . I'm giving my PSAT too . You get to learn a lot of nice words to use but more than that you language should show some maturity and sophistication . It's possible to use the simplest of words to make a wonderful sentence . My friend does that , she doesn't know a lot of big words but her flow is so appealing that examiners will be lured to give her an A* . -___-
