cmon ppl....we need some changes in sf.....i would like ppl giving their ideas for a beter sf. ;D

so lets start with me...
okay at the moment we have to reload the page to view any new posts...y dont we get a live atmosphere were the page udates automatically with every post....without members having to refresh the page manually..:D
nest...wen we post we are sent to a other page.....y dont we post in the same page...or let the page go dim..as in go to background and then the post dialogue box apears and we post/...the kinda flash thing
i think by adding these feature sf would be faster...and feel beter and advance...
hope the admins consider this.

That depends on the Programmer. And I believe that saying so is easy but doing might be difficult.
But I will tell ExamPapersGeek about this.

Hmm.. nice idea, but do you think SMF have the feature to encompass this? :\
I'm sorry I think I didn't get you well, sorry for being dumb. :P OK do you mean after you post you are taken to "Show unread posts since last visit."?
Of you mean so, go to your "Look and Layout Preferences" on your profile and check the box which says "Return to topics after posting by default."
Also you've got a "Quick reply" feature. (Second last option) It saves you from loading another page while posting. Good for only posts and adding smilies.
